An independent report reflecting the community’s experiences of housing and the planning system in regional NSW has been released by the NSW Government. The Findings Report details feedback from consultation with more than 500 people, councils and representatives from community groups across regional NSW.

Olympic Highway Intersection Upgrades at Gobbagombalin Bridge
Transport for NSW has developed plans for the Olympic Highway intersections at Old Narrandera Road and Travers Street, at either end of Gobbagombalin Bridge.
The concept design and Review of Environmental Factors (REF) report to assess the project’s impact on natural and cultural heritage, feedback on the report is currently open.

Marshalls Creek Bridge Upgrade
In September 2021 Transport for NSW released the Detailed Design and Review of Environmental Factors for the planned Marshalls Creek Upgrade. The Marshall’s Creek Upgrade forms part of the Transport for NSW Draft Wagga Wagga Transport Plan and involves the replacement of the current two-lane bridge with a new four-lane bridge, with a shared pedestrian pathway (for pedestrians and cyclists), and a second footpath for pedestrians.

The final module of the Wagga School Leaders Program for 2021 focused on implementing the skills developed and reflecting on lessons learnt throughout the program. 2019-20 Land Monitor Report Launch
Committee for Wagga with HIA and Regional Development Australia Riverina launched the Wagga Wagga Land Monitor Report 2019-20 today.
Originally developed by the Housing Association Wagga Branch, the report provides an overview of the vacant land supply in Wagga Wagga with the intention of enabling stakeholders to make better informed decisions relating to market demand and future economic growth.
