Scott Sanbrook – Chief Executive Officer
Scott was raised in the farming district of Mangoplah and was educated in Wagga Wagga before following his career paths in the city.
He was employed at The Daily Advertiser for more than two decades after starting out as a sports reporter in 1988.
Scott went on to fill the roles of general reporter and sub-editor in addition to holding the editor’s position at the weekly publication The Leader.
In 2011 he was appointed as the chief executive officer of the Murrumbidgee Turf Club where he oversaw seven Wagga Gold Cup Carnivals.
Scott has operated his own business – with a focus on the thoroughbred racing industry – since 2019.
He has a strong community involvement through the work and sporting connections he has developed in the Riverina during the past 30 years.
Scott joined the Committee 4 Wagga team in June 2022.
Michelle Ford - Executive Assistant
Michelle joined the Committee 4 Wagga team in June 2018.
Michelle was born and raised in Wagga Wagga.
Michelle spent 15 years working for Rail Infrastructure Corporation (just one of their many titles while employed there) in varying roles. Her favourite position was the last 9 years spent as a Payroll Officer. Michelle then went on to start her own small family business which her and husband Wayne ran successfully until selling in 2018.
Michelle has always enjoyed coaching and working with the youth, building up their resilience to handle challenging situations.
Michelle has represented New South Wales and Oceania in touch football.
Michelle has been an active member, coach and volunteered on various sporting entities within Wagga Wagga and still enjoys maintaining her fitness.
Michelle enjoys spending time with her family, staying fit and healthy and travelling.
Sally Lean - Executive Assistant
Sally joined the Committee 4 Wagga team in April 2024.
Sally moved to Wagga with her family in the mid 1980s, finishing school at Mt Erin and Trinity Senior High School (now Kildare Catholic College) before heading to university at the ANU. Sally’s passion for learning and teaching Chinese saw her move on to an international career after teaching in the Riverina for 4.5 years.
Sally led programs and taught Chinese across China, Hong Kong, Singapore and Thailand for 21 years, and was invited to create an English teacher training project for a school district in Beijing. Her biggest legacy was developing and implementing a Chinese immersion program for one of the biggest international schools in the world, Singapore American School, bringing in c.$25M in revenue in just the first 6 years.
Repatriating during the pandemic, Sally returned to Wagga to support her aging father. She has created an online coaching and consulting business, joining the C4W team as a way to meet more people locally and contribute to her hometown while working internationally online.
