Advocacy
Committee 4 Wagga is a network championing positive change for Wagga Wagga. Our advocacy efforts seek to drive initiatives, policies, infrastructure projects and activities consistent with our vision of Wagga Wagga being a vibrant, growing and welcoming city.
We advocate for visionary long-term thinking in the fields of People, Community, Connectivity and Economic Development for Wagga Wagga.
We aim to enhance Wagga Wagga’s competitive status and key economic, social and cultural roles within the region, state and country.
Through collaboration, advocacy and member-based events programs we seek to stimulate discussion and provide expertise to support government and private sector decision-makers on the issues which really matter for Wagga Wagga and the surrounding region.
Collaboration
Committee 4 Wagga provides an effective conduit for communication between members, industry and all levels of government. We seek to develop partnerships and coalitions between the public and private sectors to promote a shared vision for Wagga Wagga and the surrounding region.
We provide a unified voice in the public domain for members to comment on important issues, reforms and opportunities affecting the growth, development and sustainability of Wagga Wagga, now and into the future.
Engagement
Committee 4 Wagga unites our business leaders to promote the sustainable growth of our city. We do this by delivering forums and working groups for members aligned to our four pillars of People, Community, Connectivity and Economic Development. These groups drive the agenda within these areas to identify priorities and opportunities that can be recommended to members, industry and government.
We facilitate knowledge sharing events and networking opportunities between members and decision makers from both the public and private sectors. We seek to invest in our emerging leaders and young professionals through programs designed to develop and encourage the next generation of leaders for Wagga Wagga.
Through meaningful engagement with the media we leverage our ideas to further drive our agenda, influence policy development and enhance positive dialogue in the public domain.
Research
Committee 4 Wagga combines the resources of our Executive Team and the expertise of our members and strategic partners to produce evidence-based research which provides valuable insights for decision makers that will make Wagga Wagga a stronger and more vibrant city.
