Committee for Wagga Welcomes Adam Drummond as Chair

Committee for Wagga is pleased to announce the appointment of Adam Drummond, as Chair of the Board. We look forward to working with Adam as we continue to champion positive change for a thriving Wagga Wagga through leadership, collaboration, and action.

The Board of Management thanks outgoing Chair and Board Member Justeen Kirk for her dedication to Committee for Wagga and our city. Justeen joined the Board in December 2019 and leaves the Committee for Wagga Board to focus on her new business, Justeen Kirk Consulting, and her family.

Adam is the founder and CEO of Wagga Wagga.TV, a Video Production and Livestreaming company specialising in corporate videos, TV and radio commercial productions and live streaming of events.

Adam has served as a Director on the Board of Wagga RSL Club, and local charity Carevan Wagga, where he was also one of the founding members. He was also a graduate of the inaugural Committee 4 Wagga Emerging Leaders Program. He is a well-known face around Wagga having established a reputation for being an effective communicator, diplomatic leader and having an entrepreneurial spirit.

Commenting on his appointment Adam stated, ‘I am extremely humbled and excited to be joining forces with the Board, and Management team of Committee 4 Wagga, as Chair.  As a local businessperson who is passionate about the growth of our city from an economic, development and population perspective, I cannot wait to dive into this role headfirst, and with the joint efforts of CEO Brett Somerville to deliver on the many projects, programs, and deliverables C4W has committed to on behalf of our member base. Our 2022 focus will be on strengthening and maintaining our robust relationships with all stakeholders, including our members, the three tiers of government, and industry, to continue the legacy that has been paved by those involved in the organisation for the past 10 years - a milestone Committee for Wagga should be extremely proud of.’

Brett Somerville, CEO of Committee for Wagga, expressed his thanks to Justeen for her passion and commitment to C4W as both a Board Member and Chair and wished her all the best as she focuses on other priorities.

‘I welcome and look forward to working with Adam. Adam’s previous experience both professionally and as an active member of the Wagga Wagga community will provide a significant benefit to our members as we strive to make Wagga Wagga Australia’s most liveable regional city.’

Please join us in welcoming Adam to the Board.
