Welcome to Wagga Wagga - May 2023

Committee 4 Wagga, with Region Media, held our third Welcome to Wagga event at the Murrumbidgee Turf Club Members Lounge on Friday 19th May.

New residents were joined by Aunty Mary Atkinson, Mayor Cr Dallas Tout and representatives of various organisations within our community including Wagga Wagga South Lions Club, Wagga Wagga Netball , the Riverina Producers Markets, Region Development Australia - Riverina and Miss Wagga Wagga, Kate Pevere. The focus of the evening was on making and enhancing connections within our community and to our city.

Aunty Mary Welcomed our new residents to Country and Mayor Dallas Tout provided a welcome to the region on behalf of Wagga Wagga City Council.

Committee 4 Wagga’s vision for Wagga Wagga is a vibrant, growing and welcoming city. Welcome to Wagga is an event that aims to provide new residents with the information they need to discover and enjoy our city in a relaxed setting where they can meet locals and new residents alike.
