Housing Now!

Business NSW has called for bold political, community and industry leadership during the launch of its Housing Now! advocacy campaign.

Proposed solutions to the growing housing crisis were outlined by Business NSW Regional Director, Murray-Riverina Serena Hardwick at the launch held at the Bomen site of modular builder Prefabulous.

Committee 4 Wagga chief executive officer Scott Sanbrook was among the attendees who heard that Government intervention is required to make sure these solutions are approved.

The Housing Now! focus is on clearing the development backlog, enabling infrastructure and incentivising investment, diversifying regional housing stock, affordability, planning system reform, technology and innovation, accommodating a temporary workforce and pre-approved designs.
