Committee 4 Wagga has celebrated one of largest ever Welcome To Wagga events.

More than 70 new residents converged on the Victory Memorial Gardens for the free family-friendly occasion.

“It was a fantastic evening, with a large turnout of newcomers to our city and a wide cross-section of the community represented,” Committee 4 Wagga chief executive officer Scott Sanbrook said.

 “We received a wonderful response from our members for donations for the Welcome Packs.

“These giveaway packs contained lots of information about Wagga and more than $100 worth of vouchers and were extremely popular with attendees.”

 Miss Wagga Wagga Amy Hickey and Community Princess Maggie Enever were among the special guests.
