WAGGA SCHOOL LEADERS PROGRAM MODULE 1

Module 1 of the Wagga School Leaders Program commenced last week at Charles Sturt University. Moving on after the icebreaker exercise the cohort spends time establishing their Cohort Charter which will be their guide to refer to for the entirety of the program.

Then the students had time to learn more about themselves and their cohorts as well as start to think about their “personal brand” The challenge is how they will live it each and every day!

The students were able to spent time interviewing VIP’s at the morning tea Launch learning about first impressions and differing leadership styles.

During the first session, the students explore a growth mindset compared to a fixed mindset. They talked openly about taking accountability for mistakes and about perseverance and using different strategies to avoid making the same mistake.

The students also spent time on preparing their Leadership Shield which they will present to the cohort in module 6.
