2025 Combined Rotary Clubs Peace Awards

Committee 4 Wagga was honoured to be among the award recipients at the Combined Rotary Clubs of Wagga 32nd annual Peace Day Ceremony.

Seven organisations from around Wagga Wagga shared the spotlight for the Helen and Peter Walsh Memorial Peace Awards for services to the community.

Committee 4 Wagga co-chair Richard Pottie accepted the award at a touching ceremony held at the Victory Memorial Gardens, as nominated by the e-Club of Brindabella.

Other Helen and Peter Walsh Memorial recipients were Amie St Clair Melanoma Trust (South Wagga), Menshed Wagga Wagga (Sunrise), Carevan Wagga (Wollundry), Murrumbidgee Men’s Group  (Rotaract Wagga Wagga), Pro Patria Centre (Kooringal) and The Language Café (Wagga Wagga).

We were also proud to see four of last year’s graduates of the Committee 4 Wagga’s School Leaders Program stepping up to represent their schools as Year 12 leaders. Congratulations to Brenna, Darrell, Lily and Kade!
