Draft Wagga Wagga Transport Plan Released
The NSW Government has released the draft Wagga Wagga Transport Plan, a strategic vision for Wagga’s future.
The Wagga Wagga Transport Plan outlines a shared pathway for how the transport network will evolve to enable the land use vision outlined in the Wagga Wagga Local Strategic Planning Statement and the Wagga Wagga Special Activation Precinct Draft Masterplan.
Committee for Wagga was disappointed to see that neither the Gobbagombalin Bridge duplication nor the alternate route / bypass have figured as a priority in the NSW Governments’ draft Transport Plan. Committee for Wagga, on behalf of our members has advocated for these important projects for many years now.
We are eager to open discussions with Transport for NSW to gain an insight as to the reasons behind these decisions.
