Welcome Brett Somerville, CEO

The Board of Management is excited to welcome Brett Somerville as our new Chief Executive Officer. We look forward to working with Brett as we continue to champion positive change for a better Wagga Wagga.

Brett joins Committee for Wagga with years of experience in the not-for-profit sector, most recently as Club Manager at PCYC Wagga where he was responsible for the strategic direction of the business.
 
A passionate Wagga Wagga local with strong community ties, Brett’s history of community and business engagement, developing and managing key stakeholder relationships and advocacy will play a key role in the direction of Committee for Wagga and our community.

Speaking about his new role Brett stated he is 'excited for the opportunity and is looking forward to engaging with the community and meeting members'. Brett thanked the Board for placing their faith in him and is 'eager to continue the great work done by the Committee for Wagga in making Wagga a better place to work, invest and raise your family.'

Brett will join the Committee for Wagga team from 12 April 2021 and we look forward to introducing Brett to our members and friends in the near future.
