WAGGA SCHOOL LEADERS PROGRAM MODULE 2, 2021

Module 2 of the Wagga School Leaders Program, hosted by ARTC Kapooka, was held on 10 March 2021. This module is designed to challenge the individual participants and develop teamwork skills. The students learnt about their strengths and weaknesses, developed trust with their cohorts, forming stronger connections with each other.

The group was formally welcomed to Kapooka by the Commandant, Colonel Jim Hammett who spoke about his experiences in life and the Army, passing on advice about guiding principles and effective leadership. Each student valued the opportunity and asked several insightful questions relating to the key messages offered by the Colonel.

The students spent a full day at the Army Adventurous Training Wing under the supervision and guidance of Major Neil McCallum, Major James van Strijp, Warrant Officer Class 2 Dougie Royle, Warrant Officer Class 2 Chris Forestier, Sergeant Alex Walker, Corporal Natalie Dajski and Corporal Alexander Wendt.
