How long have you lived in Wagga and what brought you here/why have you stayed?
I've been living in Wagga for six months. We moved here from Townsville for my partner's work with the Defence Force, as Wagga was his next posting. Although we're still relatively new to the area, we've really enjoyed getting to know the community and are looking forward to making the most of everything Wagga has to offer.
What is your background?
I grew up in Melbourne before relocating to Townsville. I spent around eight years working in retail, where I developed strong customer service and communication skills. Along the way, I also completed several certificates in Community Services, reflecting my passion for supporting and connecting with people.
How long have you been involved with the business and how did that occur?
After welcoming our daughter just under two years ago, I realised that retail no longer suited our family's lifestyle. When we moved to Wagga, I was looking to return to the workforce and applied for an administration role with Big Springs. I've now been with the business for almost six months and have really enjoyed being part of the team. It’s a very welcoming place to work for.
What are your achievements?
My greatest personal achievement is becoming a mum. Professionally and personally, I'm also proud of the many hours I've dedicated to volunteering and giving back to the communities I've been part of over the years. I enjoy contributing wherever I can and making a positive difference to those around me.
Hobbies and interests:
Outside of work, I enjoy spending time outdoors, going to the gym, and going on adventures as a family. I'm also an aspiring plant mum and have recently started a veggie garden. It's still a work in progress.
