Wagga School Leaders Program Module 2

On March 19th students pushed their limits during Module 2 of the Wagga School Leaders Program during a day of training and teamwork at the Kapooka Army Base. Following a dive into understanding and identifying their personal values and their leadership word, students were introduced to their four Army mentors for the day.  After a safety briefing and changing into army fatigues, students split into groups and then worked through a series of trust and teamwork activities, repeatedly pushing themselves and each other physically and mentally over a challenging obstacle course.

To begin each module day for the rest of the program, students are assigned a bus partner, and some discussion prompts to engage with each other during their morning bus trips. Today they were also assigned into groups to prepare an idea for leading an energizer activity that one group will lead on each upcoming module day. We look forward to experiencing the energy and fun of these activities.
