Wagga School Leaders Program Module 1
Module 1 of the Wagga School Leaders Program kicked off yesterday at Charles Sturt University. Moving on after the icebreaker exercise the cohort spends time establishing their Cohort Charter which will be their guide to refer to for the entirety of the program.
Then the students had time to learn more about themselves and their cohorts as well as start to think about their “personal brand”
During the first session, the students explore a growth mindset compared to a fixed mindset. They talked openly about taking accountability for mistakes and about perseverance and using different strategies to avoid making the same mistake.
A morning tea was held for the launch with the students having the opportunity to interview special guests including the Hon Wes Fang, Deputy Mayor Ameilia Parkins, patron of C4W Kay Hull AO, Board members, dedicated sponsors and teachers.
The afternoon session spend time considering building effective relationships and what that looks like to each individual.
The next module will take place March 19, 2024.
