Leadership Programs 2018/19

Currently, we are planning, or in the process of completing three separate leadership programs throughout the Wagga Wagga Community, including the following: 

1. Wagga Wagga School Leaders Program for 2019 – Planning has commenced for the delivery of our very successful School Leader Program for 2019. Meetings with School Co-ordinators will occur this week to prepare the student selection process in the respective high schools.

Delivery of the program will commence in Term One and conclude in June 2019. We would like to thank our program sponsors who have so generously committed to support the program. 

2. Mentoring4Growth Program for 2018 – The inaugural season of our mentoring program will conclude with a function for mentees, mentors and mentee’s employers on 21st November. Congratulations to all participants for making this program a success.

We also wish to congratulate our member GHD and Justeen Kirk, GHD’s Wagga Wagga Manager, on the delivery of their first season in the Riverina of their global Smart Seeds program for development of young professionals.

I was invited to participate in the workshop to identify the tasks that the teams would address during the program and very much enjoyed the quality of the ‘pitch’ event on the final day. We look forward to seeing this program expand further in 2019.
