Wagga Most Family Friendly City

Wagga Wagga has been named Australia’s most family friendly city in the Suncorp Bank Family Friendly City Report.

Australia’s 30 most populated cities were ranked against nine key indicators including  employment levels, schools, health, immunisation, community and road safety, family income levels and mortgage stress. Six of the top ten were regional cities. Wagga Wagga ranked highest in three categories: community involvement, community safety and road safety.  Taking out the title of Australia’s Most Family Friendly City over Canberra (2nd) and Albury-Wodonga (3rd).

45.4% of Wagga Wagga’s population are involved in a not-for-profit organisation making the city Australia’s most generous place to live.
