Wagga Wagga needs your support.
Committee 4 Wagga is joining forces with Wagga Business Chamber and Member for Wagga Dr Joe McGirr to run a petition calling for the duplication of the Gobbagombalin Bridge.
It’s now up to our city’s residents to play their part by signing the petition.
The despair with the current river crossing was highlighted after the 2022 Murrumbidgee River flooding when 96 per cent of C4W survey respondents rated the bridge as inadequate for Wagga Wagga’s future.
This was reaffirmed when another C4W survey in 2025 rated the Gobba Bridge as the number one challenge which the city is facing.
There are 10,000 signatures required for the issue to be debated in Parliament.
Committee 4 Wagga asks for your assistance by including your name on that list.
The petition can be found in businesses across the city, or at Dr McGirr’s office at 64 Baylis Street.
Do not hesitate to contact CEO Scott Sanbrook on ceo@c4wagga.com.au if you require any further information.
